Main Street, North Carolina

Main Street, the most common street name in the United States is currently being used over 10,000 times. Main street is usually where you’ll find a concentration of local restaurants, shops, galleries, local art shows, and holiday festivals. Each “Main Street” has its own personality of the town it resides in. Maggie Valley’s main street know as Socco Road contains an abundance of shops, restaurants and activitiles. There are quite a few other Main Streets in varied driving distances. Historic Waynesville’s is just down the road is a fun place to visit for it’s shops and restaurants. Silva, Bryson City, Dillsboro, and Cherokee are just a few more small towns to explore. For a more expansive choice, and more of a city experience, downtown Asheville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are worth the short drive.
